Successful Community Bike Security Event Held at Parc Stephens, Kidwelly This evening, the Kidwelly Neighbourhood Policing Team was delighted to welcome members of the local community to Parc Stephens, Kidwelly, for a successful bike security marking event. Residents were invited to bring along their bicycles to be security marked and registered on BikeRegister, the UK's national cycle database. By marking and coding bicycles, owners have an added layer of protection against theft, while increasing the chances of their bikes being identified and returned if they are ever recovered by police. The event provided a great opportunity for officers to engage with the community, offer crime prevention advice, and help cyclists take a simple but effective step towards protecting their property. We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. It was fantastic to see so many people taking a proactive approach to cycle security. If you weren't able to join us this evening, don't worry—we'll be back again soon with another opportunity to have your bike security marked and registered. Keep an eye on our social media channels for details of upcoming events. We look forward to seeing you next time!
